The Heat is Power Association is always looking to expand our membership, recognizing that the larger and more active we become, the more effective we can be. There are a number of types of memberships in our organization. Contact susan@heatispower.org to determine how you can get involved.
Membership Types
WHP Manufacturers, Packagers, Developers
WHP Component Manufacturers - provide materials or equipment to a company in the WHP business but do not directly supply WHP systems
WHP Industrials / End Users - control the sources of WH but are not independent WHP project developers
Membership Categories and Benefits
Steering Member: Members in this class pay a premium for the right to help guide and lead the mission, vision, goals and pursuit of Heat is Power. All steering level members are automatically members of the Heat is Power Board of Directors. Steering Members have access to invitations to meet with key leaders on the state and federal level, will receive priority in being referred to for media quotes and site/shop tours, prominent placement on the Heat is Power website with your logo linked to your website, will have the opportunity to add comments to all influencer actions drafted by Heat is Power including filings, letters to Congress and other policy makers, as well as all benefits of participant members including weekly industry news, as well as policy updates, policy, regulatory and communications teleconferences.
Participant Members: Members in this class of membership pay general member dues to receive weekly industry news, monthly policy updates, bi-monthly policy, regulatory and communications teleconferences, display of your company’s logo on the Heat is Power website, and inclusion in coordinated action campaigns to influence legislative, policy and regulatory changes to benefit the waste heat to power industry.
*Annual dues are subject to Board of Director adjustment
